What Getting Ears Pierced Looks Like | Tucson Children’s Photographer
It’s time for another month of our personal project, what ____ looks like. This month I decided to share pictures of my girls getting their ears pierced over spring break in Phoenix. My oldest had never pierced her ears because she was too afraid of the process. She wanted earrings so bad but was afraid it would hurt. Well my sister-in-law and I decided we were going to take the babies in to get their ears pierced together, and when my oldest heard about it, she decided her baby sister couldn’t have her ears pierced before her. They all did great and when it as over, my daughter said she wished she would of done it earlier because it didn’t really even hurt. I love that they did it together, it’s such a fun memory they will have!

What a Month in my Life Looks Like | Tucson Family Photographer
It’s a new month which means it’s time for our What ___ Looks Like project. I love this project because it is really allowing me to capture more images of my family. Especially now that we have our new sweet little girl, I love capturing all her new fun moments and the sweet moments of my kids with her.
This month we got snow, which is a miracle for Tucson. It rarely sticks and it stuck enough to make a snowman and play in it for the day. We also started solids for the first time with Blake, she is not too sure what she thinks about them yet but we will keep trying. I am so blessed with three beautiful babies, I hate how quick they are growing up!
We had the talented Andrea Hanki join our group of ladies so please continue the circle to see her post and all of the other talent after her! Andrea Hanki | Pink Sugar Photography.
What Tombstone Looks Like
One of our favorite things to do on days off is take family trips together. When we lived in the south, we loved exploring all around Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee and more. Now that we are back in Arizona, we are trying to take our kids to places that we visited as kids. Last month we headed to Tombstone, a small town in Arizona known for being a very profitable mining and old western town. We got to go into one of the mines, which the kids thought was so cool. We also enjoyed the western feel and yummy food!

What Our Holiday’s Look Like
I am so excited that we are continuing on with this project for 2013. Last year I got rid of all projects because with a new baby, life was busy. But this is the one I decided to keep because it allowed me to take the time to document my own family. And I’m so excited about the new photographer’s who joined our group this year. Be sure to make the round through everyone’s post to see the new talent we have gained in our circle!
For this months post, I wanted to share Christmas and New Year’s. We had a great Holiday season again this year. We spent Christmas morning home with our kids watching their excitement as Santa brought them new bikes. We were also able to enjoy our sweet baby girls first Christmas (although she slept through all the present opening). Christmas afternoon we headed up to Phoenix to spend the rest of the day with family. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful family and my kids love anytime they get to spend with all their cousins. Then New Year’s Eve we had our 7th annual New Year’s party at my brothers house. We had the annual polar bear swim (I am way to big of a chicken to swim in crazy cold water), fireworks, white elephant gift exchange, and tons of good good food.

What Taking Your Training Wheels Off Looks Like | Tucson Family Photographer
I am so proud of my little man, he might only be 4 years old but he is training wheel free. He is my tough boy. The one who goes to the Dr and throws out his arm with pride when he needs shots, the one that falls and gets back up again. So a couple weeks ago we were all outside and I got the brilliant idea to take his training wheels off. Tucson weather has been beautiful so it was the perfect day to try. Well much to my surprise, he picked right up on it. He is now out most every day cruising around on his training wheel free bike. Santa just might be bringing him a bigger bike for Christmas!

What Halloween Looks Like | Tucson Family Photographer
We had a great Halloween this year. We headed home for the weekend before Halloween to have a fun celebration with family. My Mom threw her annual Halloween party for the grand kids and we were finally able to go. They did crafts, decorated sugar cookies, had a treasure hunt and more. They always have so much fun with their Nana and cousins. I just love all my nieces and nephews, aren’t they adorable? They all looked so cute in their costumes. We had everything from all the superheroes, a kitty, a princess and 3 Minnie Mouses. It was a great weekend.

What Expanding Our Family Looks Like
On September 11th, our new little girl made her way into the world. Everything went fabulous and she was one healthy happy baby. The kids spent the day up at the hospital with us just soaking in their new sister. They held her non stop and just loved all over her. (They also loved the part when the nurses brought them Popsicles and they got to watch cartoons). We are elated to have her in our family now, we just love her to pieces!!!
