Seriously is this not the most beautiful family you have every seen? Kristy Lane has been a photography friend of mine online for almost 2 years now. She has taught me so much of what I know from her marvelous Bloom Workshop and Forum. She has also been an amazing friend and supporter, she is the best.
I am so lucky to belong to a photography community that is so supportive and wonderful. When I first started my photography journey, I took the Bloom Workshop. Brenda Acuncius and Kristy were so open and honest. I fell in love with them and their awesome personalities and am so grateful for all they have done for me!
Last week I was able to go to Texas for one of Kristy and Brenda’s workshops and finally got to meet them, and let me say they did not disappoint. They were just as marvelous in person as they have been online.
We had a chance to photograph Kristy’s gorgeous family, are they not just picture perfect? Her kids were the best, seriously. The boys just stood there and allowed us to photograph them and her little daughter is a ball full of fun energy. She is absolutely adorable.
I will post more pictures from my workshop in the next week or two, but I had to share these because they were some of my favorite pictures.
I know this was SUPER picture heavy but seriously, how could I help it? I just couldn’t leave any of these images out!

I was so happy with all the sweet pictures we got of baby McClain. If you remember I posted his sneak peak last week, you can check them out here. I love doing newborn sessions at my clients house so we can get pictures that are special to the parents in their own home. We got some sweet nursery pictures and we got some good family photographs too. When I walked into his nursery I immediately saw a child’s stuffed froggy seat and knew I had to get pictures of him on it. It’s fun to incorporate props from my client’s house into the pictures. It was an overcast day here in Memphis the day we shot these, but we still had some great light and were able to get what we needed.
Thanks for letting me in your home, you are so blessed with a perfect little boy!

Another newborn and I couldn’t be happier. This is my third little boy I have photographed in Memphis in a month, I think it’s a year of boys here in Memphis!!! He was the easiest and best newborn ever. I couldn’t believe how easily he went along with us posing him and being handled. I had a great time with this sweet little man and his parents were wonderful. They were the most laid back amazing first time parents. Here’s a sneak peek of my latest cutie.

Here are the rest of the pictures of sweet baby Lucas. Don’t you just love that red hair? He was so much fun to photograph and was such a sweet little boy. Look at his little lips, they are so cute. And I love the last one with his mouth open, so darn cute!!!
