It’s December, where has 2011 gone? This year has just flown by and the project has gone by too quickly. It has been so much fun challenging myself each week with a new theme. Next year our project will be a little different and a lot more challenging so you will have to come back to follow it.
Our theme this week was red. I decided to photograph an ornament on the tree. But this is not just any ornament, this is the family coveted ornament this year. The kids just love Mike’s geebee airplane. They argued over who got to put it on the tree this year. Mike has a little fun collection of airplane ornaments. He was working on his pilot license when we met and after we got married he had to stop because it was too expensive. His Dad has a plane and is a pilot so the kids have grown to love planes. When they saw his ornaments they immediately saw the geebee and loved it.
Hope you enjoy the photograph of our little geebee as much as our family has!

Now head to Breeze’s site to see her picture of red this week. Breeze Floyd | North Stonington Photographer
